  • The future of Brock Lesnar is still up in the air. He might or might not leave WWE after WrestleMania but no matter what Lesnar decides to do, WWE should think about the future of Paul Heyman.
He has been a mainstay in the WWE ever since Lesnar’s return and to be frank, Heyman is more valuable than Lesnar. Heyman has the ability to manipulate the fans unlike any talker in the current roster.
Apart from his, the whole ‘Paul Heyman Guy’ thing is a brand that could elevate anyone. It would be important for the company to find a suitable Paul Heyman guy if Lesnar leaves and here is a look at the possible candidates for the same.

    #5 Roman Reigns

One of the main reasons for Brock Lesnar’s success in WWE is Paul Heyman. Though he had the skills to be a great wrestler, Lesnar’s talking ability was nowhere near good. Heyman covered up this and morphed Lesnar into a main event superstar.
Roman Reigns is currently going through the same phase. He has everything in his favor except the talking skills. Having a manager like Heyman by his side will be a game changer for the Samoan.
Heyman recently mentioned about the links he had with Reigns’ family and it could serve as the foundation for this angle. Vince McMahon is clearly high on Reigns and Heyman could easily silence all the Roman Reigns critics out there.

    #4 Cesaro

This man deserves a second chance. The fans had high hopes when Cesaro became a Paul Heyman guy after WrestleMania XXX, but the angle fell flat thanks to the return of Brock Lesnar.
Cesaro was having a good run while it lasted and he could have gone much further if it wasn’t for Lesnar’s mistimed return. His career went downhill from there and Cesaro is finally finding some momentum back because of the brass ring club.
He looks set to win the Tag team titles soon and along with that, Lesnar’s departure makes is a great slot for Cesaro’s second chance. The only apparent hurdle between Cesaro and this push is Vince McMahon.

    #3 Seth Rollins

WWE once teased the idea of Seth Rollins becoming a Paul Heyman guy, but didn’t follow it up for some reason. Rollins is currently the top heel in WWE and having Heyman by his side would elevate Rollins further.
Although Rollins has good microphone skills, it will be good to get some right guidance from Heyman. Mr. Money in the bank achieved a lot during his singles run and if the company is looking to keep him rooted to the evil side, a character development is needed. Heyman could be just that.
If the company decides to make this one a long investment, within no time, Rollins will morph into one of the top heels in WWE history.

    #2 Paige

Why do we have to stick with Paul Heyman ‘guy? Why can’t it be a Paul Heyman girl? The situations of women wrestlers in WWE have been horrible. They are not given proper time to build up any storyline or match while the status of pay-per-view time is no different.
Things down in NXT are far better compared to the main roster and if the company ever wants to take these girls seriously, then letting Heyman manage someone will do the trick.
And there aren’t many girls out there who could be successful under Heyman than Paige. She has all the resources to become a legendary diva in the company and Heyman will only make the path more beautiful.

    #1 John Cena

John Cena - 5 potential Paul Heyman guys after Brock Lesnar leaves
John Cena’s heel turn has been a matter of debate for years. One of the reasons for WWE not banking in on the same is the risk involved. If the heel turn bombs, the company will lose a lot of money through various sources but Heyman could just wipe off that risk factor.
If Heyman wants the fans to hate him, the fans will hate him, if Heyman wants the fans to love him; the fans will love him, simple as that. This is by far a better scenario than Cena’s 50-50 reaction.
The combination of Cena and Heyman is good enough to shake up the wrestling world and, of course, who doesn’t want to see Cena turn heel?
